I guess he decided not to stay around. I have some lovely Ash as well at the moment. Ah well, all mine, all mine, all mine! Just got a good bargain on Ebay. House and run for my Halloween arrivals. Don't have time to build new chook housing and got a call to say the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire was happy to let me have a trio of Buff Cochins. I've been after some for 18 years so was rather chuffed but not happy with housing arrangements and after a dreadful time here, it all seemed a bit more of a problem, but, sorted! And picking the babies up on Halloween so small can have a fab day out at Chatsworth doing all the Halloween stuff. HURRAH.

What I Do:
horses, dogs, & hen owner & now 6 lambs !

WebLog:

The cochins from Chatsworth are very nice birds, our friends in Derby had some too, never seen them for sale around here sadly. Probably need to visit Wernlas.

We have lots of pumpkins awaiting collection by Nieces and Nephew at the weekend, they grew really well this year despite the poor weather. There is only so much pumpkin soup/ risotto that we can eat though.

There is always room for another hen, dog, lamb or horse
