Houmous Dip
400g can chickpeas - washed and drained
juice of 1 small lemon ( or 1/2 large according to taste)
2 cloves garlic
2 tbspns olive oil
2 tbspns tahini paste (sesame)
Whizz everything together in a blender until smooth.
Add a little water if necessary to make a smooth consistency.
Use as a dip for pitta bread, raw veg etc. Also good on jacket potatoes
Will keep for 4/5 days refrigerated. |
